Overview
Selamlık Hall has the characteristics of Cairo architecture inside the Sait Halim Paşa Mansion. The hall stands out with the oil painting titled "Hunting in the Desert" with the dimensions of 4.65x7.76 m. It was made in 1865 in Egypt by the painter Felix Auguste Clément. Thanks to the perspective techniques used, the horses in the picture follow the viewer with their eyes, no matter which corner of the room one looks at (the restoration work of the painting continues). The hall is used for gala dinners, special events and parties, as well as conferences and meetings.
